Cooking Tank – MTCT
MarkoomTech Cooking Tank (Jacketed Tank) is a specialized industrial vessel for precise heating and cooling of liquids. It is used in food processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical manufacturing and features a double-wall (jacketed) construction. This allows controlled circulation of heating or cooling media such as steam or water. It ensures uniform temperature distribution and efficient thermal processing.
Configuration and Design:
The Jacketed Tanks are engineered with a double-wall construction consisting of an inner vessel and an outer shell. The jacket enables controlled circulation of heating or cooling media such as steam or water. Heat is transferred indirectly through the vessel walls, ensuring precise temperature control without direct contact with the product. This maintains product quality, safety, and hygiene.
Depending on the application, the unit can be equipped with an integrated agitation system or cutting blades. Continuous mixing ensures uniform heat distribution and a fully homogeneous product. The combination of thermal control and mechanical agitation provides consistent processing results and high product quality.
The tank body is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. Product-contact surfaces can be optionally upgraded to AISI 316L upon request. The construction typically consists of three layers: an inner layer, a jacket layer, and an outer layer.
Additionally, the internal tank surface features smooth radiused transitions to eliminate sanitary dead zones. This design ensures full drainability, easy cleaning, and hygienic operation.
