Rotary Air Separator- MTSAS – 900
MarkoomTech Rotary Air Separator, also known as the Rotary Air Classifier, is a high-performance cleaning machine designed for removing husks from hulled sesame seeds. The machine efficiently separates light husk particles from the sesame using advanced air classification technology. It is widely used in sesame processing plants to improve sesame cleanliness and product quality. The separator can also be used for the processing and separation of various types of seeds.
Product Overview – Rotary Air Separator – MTSAS – 900
MTSAS – 900 Rotary Air Separator from MarkoomTech is a high-efficiency centrifugal separation system designed for removing husks and light impurities from hulled sesame seeds. The machine features two vertically mounted cyclone-shaped chambers that ensure continuous and controlled product flow during operation.
The upper cyclone acts as a feeding hopper, continuously supplying sesame into the classification system. The lower cyclone is equipped with a suction aspirator and a rotary fan (ventilator rotor disc), which regulates the product flow and creates a precise air classification zone for effective separation.
As the sesame seeds pass through the classification area, light particles such as husks and fine impurities are lifted by the aspirator airflow. These particles pass through the ventilator rotor disc and are directed to cyclone dust collectors, while the heavier sesame seeds continue downward into the cone section for further processing.
The fan reduces the falling speed of the product, improving air contact and enhancing separation accuracy. This results in cleaner, higher-purity hulled sesame seeds suitable for food processing and export applications.
Usage and Working Principle – Rotary Air Separator – MTSAS – 900
MarkoomTech husk separator is installed immediately after the sesame peeler in sesame and tahini processing lines. It removes sesame husks and light impurities efficiently. It is one of the most reliable cleaning systems used in sesame processing plants. This ensures high-quality sesame output suitable for premium food applications.
Its working principle is based on centrifugal force, gravity, and controlled airflow. These forces separate materials based on weight and density. Heavy sesame seeds and light husk particles are classified accurately.
The system is self-cleaning. It does not require manual cleaning. This allows continuous and efficient operation in modern automated sesame processing lines.
Benefits – Rotary Air Separator – MTSAS – 900
The Rotary Air Classifier from MarkoomTech uses a combination of airflow and weight-based separation to achieve highly efficient cleaning results. It removes sesame husks effectively from hulled sesame in peeling facilities and tahini production factories.
The system can also separate a wide range of dry, granular, and free-flowing materials based on particle density. It maintains product integrity and does not damage sesame seeds during processing.
It supports continuous operation, making it ideal for modern industrial processing lines.
